![]() ![]() This was our 2nd hotel on our Las Vegas trip - we stayed at the Aria a few days prior. Very convenient - like right outside the door! - to the Fremont. Did not do any gambling in their casino, but did eat in one of the Golden Nugget restaurants (reviewed separately) and really had fun time in one of the lobby lounges (also reviewed separately). Still, was great to cool down in the Vegas heat. There is a quieter adult pool but it was a little too boring! Despite the pool area being busy, we were able to find deck chairs though you are a little squished in like a sardines a bit. ![]() There were a little too many children in the pool for my liking however, I can't blame them of course - it's a great pool. We had a nice view of the pool, and spent a good afternoon there on one of our days. Being a smaller hotel than those on the strip, it didn't take us forever and ever to get to our room, either. The room was a very large size, and had everything we expected in a room. We wanted to experience staying both on The Strip as well as the downtown Fremont Street area. We were pleased with our 2-night Gold Tower pool-view room at the Golden Nugget - for less than 1/2 of the price of the Aria, I might add.
